Why hasn't my sitter profile been validated yet, even though I've completed everything required?
If it's been more than 48 business hours since you completed all the steps, you may have received an email to the address you registered with on Gudog, indicating necessary changes to validate your profile. If you haven't received it yet, we'll contact you shortly.
Here are possible reasons why your profile hasn't been validated yet. Once you make the changes, we'll review it as soon as possible to validate your sitter profile on Gudog:
Upload a valid ID document. It's possible you've already submitted an ID document but it was rejected by our payment platform. You can resubmit your document ensuring:
- Your personal details (name, surname, and date of birth) match exactly with your document.
- Your document hasn't expired.
- It's a valid document for our payment platform: ID card, passport, or driver's license.
- The provided photo(s) are clear and all information can be read correctly, without cuts or blurs.
- You're of legal age.
Check that your album photos are sufficient and show what we request. It's important that in your album photos, we can verify your experience caring for dogs and the areas where the dogs you host will be, in case you offer services at home such as Doggy Day Care and Dog Boarding. You can review and improve your album considering:
- Upload photos with dogs you've cared for previously.
- Upload photos of your home, especially areas where the dogs you care for will be if you offer services at home.
- Photos with logos or information from external websites are not allowed.
- Only upload your own photos.
Your description is crucial to us. Make sure to write a unique description, talking about yourself and your experience caring for dogs. A complete description includes:
- A brief introduction about yourself.
- Information about your experience caring for dogs, whether professional or personal.
- Information about your dogs or animals. You'll also need to register your dogs by accessing from Dog Owner Profile > My Dogs.
- Information about your routine, schedule, and availability.
- Information about the type of care you offer.
- If you offer services at home (Dog Boarding and/or Doggy Day Care), tell us about the spaces where the dogs you care for will be.
- Information about what type of dogs you accept.
If your profile hasn't been validated, it may be because your description is currently too brief. Give us all possible details and tell us everything families will want to know before booking with you.
Remember that we won't validate profiles that contain this information in their description:
- Information about services not offered on Gudog (Dog Boarding, Doggy Day Care, and Dog Walking).
- Information about caring for other animals besides dogs.
- Contact information or links to other websites.
- Descriptions that are not your own or may be suspected of plagiarism.
- Different rates than those indicated in the "Services and Rates" section.
Upload a profile photo where you can be clearly seen. It's essential to have a profile photo where you are clearly visible. And if you're accompanied by a dog you've cared for, even better! Remember that photos with logos or containing contact information or links to other websites are not allowed.
Create your dog's profile. If you have your own dog or dogs living with you, it's necessary to create their profiles from the "My Dogs" section in your profile. Remember that families can use the "sitter with/without own dog" filter when searching.
